What is ASMI and the Bystander Assistance Programs?
ASMI is the acronym for Accident Scene Management Inc. ASMI classes are motorcycle crash specific. The purpose of the Bystander Assistance Programs are to enhance the survival rate and reduce severity of injuries for the injured riders of all motorized vehicles. We expect to decrease the chance of rescuer injury due to inappropriate actions at the accident scene. We also expect to educate motorists how to protect themselves legally and financially should they have the need to assist at the scene of an accident.
Why ASMI?
When trauma results in CPR, the victim only has a 1% change of survival. We must do everything we can to avoid getting to that point! The ASMI classes are for both for the average rider and the Professional Rescuer. What are you willing to do for your fellow rider? Are they willing to help you?
